Taking Nuggets of Knowledge to Northern KwaZulu-Natal
The Automotive Components Trade Show, popularly known as Partinform, made its way to the northern KwaZulu-Natal town of Richards Bay on 20 June 2018. Held at the Richards Bay Country Club in the bucolic surrounds of Meerensee on a mild mid-winter evening, the trade show attracted the dedicated automotive fraternity of the region, all on a quest for moments of mobility magic
The Partinform roadshow, which has been on the go since 1986, was established by South Africa’s leading automotive component manufacturers, with the primary goal to take the message of quality branded product to the width and breadth of southern Africa. In its 32 year history, Partinform has stayed true to its original purpose, whilst also evolving and adapting to the ever changing dynamics of the market. Thus, since Richards Bay has one of the largest coal exporting terminals in the world, it could be said that the Partinform members were not taking coals to Newcastle, but rather taking nuggets of knowledge to northern KwaZulu-Natal, with Richards Bay playing host. aBr, the anointed scribe of all things good in the automotive aftermarket, was on hand to record the proceedings.
