Blake Robert was born on 3 November 2013 into a family with motorbikes in their genes. The story goes that when his mom went into labour, his dad had to rush her from the track to the hospital, as Blake was born on a race day. Blake, the youngest of 3 brothers, started his racing career as pit crew for his older siblings when he was just 2 years old. Even at that tender age he loved being around bikes and was comfortable in the racing environment.
His own racing career started in 2020 when he was 6, and he won the PW50 Novice Championship in his first season. In 2021 he again raced the PW50 and pulled off a competitive second podium placing. In 2022, Blake moved up to the Junior Motard class where he achieved many victories but, due to technical issues in the last race, lost the championship by just 1 point. However, all wasn’t lost as he joined the King Price Xtreme team as the youngest-ever team member.
2023 was a low point. Blake struggled with bike issues and crashes and couldn’t compete in all the rounds of the championship. With his title hopes dashed early in the season, the Xtreme team rallied around to prepare him to move up to the 65cc Class. Blake spent the second half of the season learning to ride a bike with gears, improving his all-round skills, and getting his mojo back.
This year, with his commitment revving higher than his bike when the chequered flag waves, Blake is competing in the Junior Motard 65cc Class on a brand-new Husqvarna TC65 for the Xtreme team, and he’ll also be racing in the Honda NSF under the SAMRA banner. At just 10 years old, he’s proven that he has what it takes to run upfront and is completely focused on being a title contender in both classes.
Blake is mentored by his dad Craig, as well as his brother Cayden and team lead Clint Seller, who are both part of the King Price Xtreme family and respectively have 3 and 10 championships to their names. He’s determined to follow in their footsteps and become a champion too… And his aggressive yet smooth riding style makes him a formidable opponent.
When he’s not at the track, Blake races around on his bicycle and plays games. He’s also an avid chef and can often be found in the kitchen preparing meals with his dad.
