The third Fleet Safety Awards was launched in May and the number of entries is steadily climbing.
Following valuable lessons learnt from last year, the entry process is significantly simplified and improved. There are now only three simple steps to enter the running to be Awarded as a leader in road safety.
The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, says several changes are responsible for the improved process. “The first of these changes is the merging of the first and second entries. There is now a single entry to complete for each category that one wants to enter. This means less time and decreased detail input – time is reduced by up to 50%.
“Additionally, less questions are present in the entry form while still enabling judges to obtain a thorough insight into you or your organisation’s commitment to improving road safety. Various other elements of the entry process all contribute to streamline entering and minimise the amount of time taken to enter the Fleet Safety Awards 2024,” says Herbert.

Entry into the Fleet Safety Awards takes three simple steps:
- Sing-up
- Sign-in
- Participate
Sign-up
Each entrant needs to sign-up to enter the Awards. Due to various upgrades to the site, even if a profile was created during the 2023 Awards, a new profile is required to participate. The sign-up process consists of only six basic questions that will take less than a minute to complete.
Sign-in
Once a profile is created, you will receive an email and SMS with your unique user ID. To log in, the unique user ID needs to be entered and the home page will open. After entering your unique ID once, your device will remember the ID if cookies are enabled.
Participate
Once the home page opens, entrants can select the category or categories they would like to enter. When entering Best Fleet Manager and Best Organisation, multiple categories can be entered depending on the type of vehicle-classes you are submitting entries for. Once an entrant completes all the categories they would like to enter, the entry process is complete.
It is with the feedback from last year’s entrants that the process is so effectively streamlined. “We listened to what each person had to say which helped us create a smooth and efficient process.
