Bridge of Weir Leather, expert supplier of Fine Automotive Leather to the world’s most respected luxury car brands, will again be celebrating the very best in automotive design at the 2021 Concours of Elegance held at Hampton Court Palace 3-5 September.
This year’s selection of automotive ‘icons’, all on display at the Bridge of Weir enclosure, will span many decades, from classic cars to the latest supercars, all sharing two core themes – Bridge of Weir leather and exceptional design.
The prestigious Bridge of Weir Design Award also enters its second year, honouring an individual car from across the concours for its outstanding interior and exterior design. Last year’s winner was the stunning one-of-one 1938 Bugatti Type 57 Atalante Coupe by Gangloff, with a stunning black over purple two-seater body. This year’s judging panel, again made up of experts in automotive design from the world’s leading car companies, will be giving the trophy, a gear lever wrapped in Bridge of Weir leather specially designed by CALLUM, to a truly exceptional icon.
Jamie Davidson, Director, Bridge of Weir Leather Company: "Concours of Elegance is universally recognised as one of the world’s leading concours events, and it is our pleasure to again be hosting guests at our enclosure where we will be celebrating the best in automotive design with a varied display of iconic vehicles.
“Our connections to the world’s leading automotive companies and the designers who create such beautiful cars are incredibly important and we’ll be looking forward to again presenting our Design Award to a car in the concours which our expert panel of judges believe is truly outstanding.”
