Growing demand sees WeBuyCars moving to bigger warehouse in Phumelela Park

Due to the growing demand for used cars, WeBuyCars has moved its Phumelela Park warehouse to bigger premises just up the road in Cape Town.

Apart from meeting the growing interest from customers, the space has the capacity to hold 550 vehicles, a significant increase from the previous location in Phumelela Park which could only accommodate 350 vehicles.

“With disposable income still under strain and new vehicle prices increasing, consumers are opting for used vehicles, driving growth in this market segment which continues to be resilient and defensive.  Although we felt the very real effects of the first few months of hard lockdown and the resulting impact on the economy, during the second half of 2020 we saw a significant bounce back in in customer demand for both warehouse and online trading, which has necessitated the move to a larger space,” says Faan van der Walt, WeBuyCars CEO.

Apart from a wide range of vehicles across numerous brands and models ranging in value from R40 000 upwards, the site brings customer convenience and competitive pricing, and offers a full range of car finance as well as a range of insurance products and services to protect your car.

WeBuyCars has moved from Unit 5B, Phumelela Park, 44 Montague Drive, Montague Gardens, Cape Town to C/O Freedom way and Montague Drive, Montague Gardens, 7441. The warehouse is open on Sundays from 10:00 – 14:00.
