Crisis Recovery: Supply Chain Management & Development

Crisis Recovery: Supply Chain Management & Development

Our Working Group Sessions continue next week in partnership with the SAABC with a focus on effective supply chain management in a phase of COVID-19 crisis recovery.

COVID-19 has fundamentally impacted supply chain management and development through:

  • Impacting the reliability of material, parts and service supply
  • Creating unpredictable and sporadic supply chain challenges
  • Causing inbound and outbound congestion at key logistical nodes, and
  • Impacting business continuity due to market demand, production and supply operating out of sync.

Join us on Thursday, 27 August 2020, 11h00 - 12h00 as we unpack these challenges, learn from one another and collectively develop a productive way forward for supply chain management and development.

  1. Impact of C-19 on Supply Chain Management
  2. Results of C-19 Impact Survey: How are local firms responding to supply chain challenges?

Cluster’s response to supply chain management and development.
