The European vehicle parc is changing rapidly.
Chinese vehicle manufacturers are establishing a stronger presence across the market, bringing new technologies, electrified platforms and an increasing number of vehicle variants to roads throughout the region. As this vehicle population continues to grow, distributors and workshops need more than just parts availability. They need an experienced aftermarket partner with the scale, expertise and long-term commitment to keep pace with changing demand.
At DRiV, we do not approach the aftermarket product by product. We lead category by category. Our ambition is to build coverage across every major system and vehicle segment—from passenger cars and commercial vehicles to hybrids, EVs and two-wheel applications. This approach drives continuous investment in engineering, research and development, and portfolio expansion.
Therefore, we are continuously investing in the future of the aftermarket by expanding coverage across our portfolio, including a growing number of Chinese vehicle applications. From braking and chassis systems to electrical and maintenance products, we are strengthening our offering to provide our customers with parts they need for the vehicles entering their workshops today—and those arriving tomorrow.
Investing in Coverage Across Every Major Vehicle System
As Chinese vehicle brands continue to expand across Europe, DRiV is strengthening its coverage accordingly. By the end of 2026, the company will provide up to 70%* coverage in key categories such as braking, shock absorbers, steering and suspension, ignition and filtration, supporting a vehicle parc close to 700,000 vehicles in operation*.
For braking, DRiV’s Ferodo brand continues to expand its vehicle coverage, including fast-growing Chinese vehicle applications. The coverage is expected to increase by more than 8% in 2026 and by up to 20% by end of 2027*, adding key models from major Chinese manufacturers such as MG, Maxus and BYD.
For shock absorbers, DRiV’s brand Monroe is expanding coverage in 2026 for an expected leading coverage position* on major Chinese car applications, covering popular vehicle brands such as BYD and MG.
For Steering & suspension, DRiV’s MOOG brand already offers leading coverage* for Chinese vehicle applications and continues to expand throughout 2026, with more than 20% coverage growth across its product families. This includes axial rods, tie rod ends, ball joints, link stabilisers, track control arms and wishbones for major Chinese vehicle brands, including Lynk & Co and MG.
Although many Chinese vehicle applications are electric, DRiV remains committed to supporting internal combustion applications as well. Its spark plugs portfolio, under the iconic Champion brand, already covers more than 500,000 vehicles in operation, supporting workshops’ access to the parts they need. In addition, the coverage for Chinese vehicle applications for the ignition range outperforms the coverage of key competition* and investments are continuously made to improve further upon car parc coverage.
For filtration, DRiV’s Champion brand continues to invest in its air, cabin, oil and fuel filter portfolio to meet the growing demand for Chinese vehicle applications. Coverage is expected to increase by more than 10 percentage points, adding support for popular models from manufacturers including MG, BYD, Chery and BAIC.
These investments reflect our commitment to helping distributors and installers confidently service one of the fastest-growing vehicle segments in Europe.
OE Heritage Meets Aftermarket Expertise
One of the strengths behind DRiV's coverage strategy is the combination of globally trusted brands and original equipment expertise. The DRiV portfolio includes iconic aftermarket brands such as Monroe®, MOOG®, Ferodo®, Champion®, Jurid®, Walker®, Beral® and the Engine Expertise brands including AE®, Nural®, Payen®, Glyco®, FP Diesel® and Goetze®.
Many of these brands are supplying original equipment to vehicle manufacturers worldwide and continue to leverage that engineering expertise in aftermarket product development. This OE heritage is particularly valuable as vehicle technologies evolve. Chinese manufacturers are introducing advanced electric and hybrid platforms, new electronic architectures and innovative vehicle designs. Supporting these technologies requires continuous engineering investment and deep technical knowledge. That is why DRiV continues to develop solutions for internal combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles while expanding coverage for emerging vehicle manufacturers from both Europe and Asia.
