Champion Lubricants returns to Automechanika Frankfurt with future-ready solutions for the aftermarket
  • Champion to showcase digital tools, value-added services, lubricant and fluid solutions for established and emerging vehicle technologies.
  • Brand to unveil its restructured product range and redesigned packaging.
  • Race-to-road approach to feature prominently, translating race-tested innovation into workshop-ready solutions.

Champion Lubricants will return to Automechanika Frankfurt from 8 to 12 September 2026. At Hall 12.0, Booth B21, the brand will present its latest products and services, from dedicated BEV solutions to technologies refined through motorsport.

Champion will also unveil its restructured range and redesigned packaging ahead of the official launch.

The automotive aftermarket is becoming increasingly complex, driven by evolving vehicle technologies, changing customer expectations and continued pressure on product availability. Visitors will discover how Champion’s product portfolio, support services and production capabilities help distributors, workshops and other aftermarket professionals respond with confidence to these challenges.

A future-ready product range

Champion’s range revamp goes beyond redesigned packaging. It follows a comprehensive review of the brand’s portfolio structure, range architecture and product communication.

The restructured product range is designed to make it easier for aftermarket professionals to identify, explain and recommend the right products while retaining Champion’s established formulations and broad vehicle coverage. The redesigned packaging introduces a refreshed visual identity and new bottle features.

Practical support for aftermarket growth

As lubricant requirements become more complex, distributors, retailers and workshops need access to clear technical information and practical commercial support. Champion continues to expand its value-added services to help partners strengthen their expertise, improve efficiency and create new sales opportunities.

Examples of such services include the new PRO Academy, which combines flexible, self-paced online learning with sessions designed and delivered by lubrication specialists. The brand will also introduce its new Retail Concept, a ready-to-install solution combining branded shelving with point-of-sale materials.

Other featured services include LubeTrack oil analysis, which helps detect lubricant degradation, contamination and component wear, and Pro Level Tracker, which enables real-time monitoring of lubricant levels in tanks and drums.

Recent product developments

Champion will present recent developments for passenger-car, heavy-duty and racing applications.

Highlights include SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-40 engine oils developed for hydrogen internal-combustion engines and an SAE 0W-30 engine oil meeting the Stellantis FPW9.55535-DH1 specification.

The brand will also showcase a central hydraulic fluid for applications from Asian vehicle manufacturers and a new SAE 75W-90 racing gearbox and transaxle lubricant with integrated limited-slip capability.

These products complement Champion’s wider portfolio of engine oils, transmission fluids, coolants, greases and specialist fluids for conventional, hybrid and battery-electric vehicles.

Tested to the extreme

Champion’s race-to-road approach uses motorsport as a demanding testing environment for lubricant and fluid technologies.

Its partnerships include Aston Martin-powered Comtoyou Racing and BMW Motorrad Motorsport in the FIM Endurance World Championship. In 2026, Champion expanded its collaboration with BMW Motorrad Motorsport into the FIM Superbike World Championship as technical partner of the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team.

Closer to home, Champion also supports Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, providing another demanding proving ground for next-generation formulations.

Franck Jolly, Global Sales Trademarks & Marketing Director at Champion Lubricants, commented: “We are thrilled to return to Automechanika Frankfurt, presenting a newly revamped Champion range and a host of innovations for the rapidly evolving car parc. As we continue to take on the industry’s challenges, we are also investing in new services and tools to support customers, ensuring that our partners are equipped to maximise every commercial opportunity.

“The entire team is looking forward to catching up with customers and colleagues from across the industry and sharing the results of our efforts over these past two years. AMF is one of the most significant aftermarket events in the calendar, and we are eager to return.” [TD1]

Automechanika Frankfurt expects to welcome approximately 4,400 to 4,500 exhibitors from more than 80 countries in 2026, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s leading automotive aftermarket events.
