Hijackings. Smash-and-grabs. Kidnappings. Road rage. Targeted attacks on vehicles. Graphic videos. Headlines that should shock us but somehow don’t anymore.
Too much risk, too much loss and too much trauma have been absorbed into daily life and treated as routine. We scroll past it, shake our heads and move on. But calling it normal does not make it acceptable, and it certainly does not make it safe.
At Armormax, we believe South Africans are right to reject what has become routine. But we also believe the answer is not fear, retaliation or vigilantism. This is about protection, not retaliation. It is about recognising the reality around us and making responsible decisions that protect life.
