The F1 circus returns to the Sakhir circuit – scene of pre-season testing – for this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Ferrari is drawing attention not only for its expected upgrades, but also for giving Dino Beganovic his first official F1 session.

The 19-year-old Swede, a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, has steadily climbed the ranks through Formula 4 and Formula 3, and currently races in Formula 2 with Hitech TGR. His FP1 outing in Charles Leclerc’s car will be a major milestone in his development – and one to watch closely.

Meanwhile, Ferrari plans to debut a new floor design, a key aerodynamic component that plays a massive role in a car’s performance under the current ground effect regulations.

Even minor tweaks to the floor’s shape, strakes, or diffuser can yield meaningful performance gains. With the midfield battle so tightly contested, any improvement -especially this early in the season - could be vital.

So how much of a step forward can Ferrari expect in Bahrain?
