In light of the Employment Equity Amendment Act implemented on 1 January 2025, the Department of Employment and Labour has recently sent out letters to designated employers requesting them to join in the consultation process for the forthcoming sectoral targets and regulations, in each specific sector.
It is of the utmost importance that you, as an employer, participate in this process, as these are the race targets that you will eventually be expected to comply with.
