Bosch Car Service Launches Sixth Service Centre
Five service centres in the south of Johannesburg, sixth opens in Springs.

Auto Expedi8, a group of five Bosch Car Service workshops in the south of Johannesburg, has launched its sixth service centre in Springs at the Springs Mall.

Jenene Cronning, a co-owner of Auto Expedi8, said the Springs Mall Service Centre branch is a newly revamped service centre equipped with the latest technology and run by an experienced team who will also adhere to Bosch’s international standards. Auto Expedi8 recently celebrated its 17th year.

The other branches, Gateway Alberton, Alberton City, The Reef Germiston and Mall of the South, also achieved a 100% audit pass with the Rifle Range branch opening earlier this year.

Auto Expedi8 co-owner Walter Gale said, “To achieve this excellent audit, ongoing effort is needed to deliver on all aspects of internal management and customer service and continual investment in the latest tooling and equipment.

“This ensures our staff are up to date with the latest motor industry technology and training. The clean audit confirms that our servicing and repair work adheres to the highest standards. Even our service advisors receive extensive customer service and vehicle operations training.”

The 100% audit pass was received from Robert Bosch head office in Germany. The categories audited covered each branch’s overall adherence to Bosch Car Service global standards; the use of Bosch parts; customer service satisfaction; staff skills, qualifications and ongoing training; workshop technical expertise; business improvements; equipment, tools and facilities; staff clothing; stationery; customer parking facilities; and adherence to safety and environmental regulations; together with a range of other factors.

“We only use genuine parts such as oil filters, spark plugs, alternators, brake disks and pads, bulbs, air-con repairs and more. Other services include aircon re-gas, alternator checks, and battery testing and replacement on all vehicle makes,” said Cronning.

“There is a six-month guarantee on the parts we supply, which cover high-quality Bosch or OE-approved parts. We also provide a six-month or 10,000 km guarantee on all our workmanship.”

Opening specials at the Springs branch include an air conditioning re-gas at 50% less, a free battery health test and a diagnostics test at 50% off the retail price.
