The Motor Industry Workshop Association (MIWA), a proud association of the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI) will be making a significant impact at this year's Automechanika Johannesburg, to be held at the Nasrec Expo Centre later this month from 19-21 November.
MIWA will host the SpannerTorque Pavilion, a dynamic platform showcasing the innovative collaborations and partnerships that drive South Africa’s automotive aftermarket industry forward. "Automechanika provides us with a tremendous opportunity to connect and engage with our members and partners,” says Pieter Niemand, National Director of MIWA. “The SpannerTorque Pavilion is an extension of this mission, bringing together a wealth of knowledge and expertise from a broad network of industry leaders.”
The SpannerTorque platform was initially launched through a collaboration between the Motor Industry Workshop Association (MIWA), HaynesPro, TecAlliance, Bosch, TotalEnergies, SKF, ZF, My Auto, Launch, GUD Filters Aftermarket, Idemitsu, and ATE. In recent months, several new partners have joined, including Turbo Direct, Shell, and Mahle. Each partner plays a critical role in advancing SpannerTorque’s objective of supporting workshops through access to high-quality information, resources, and support. “Automechanika, which is in its 9th year this year, is South Africa’s leading international trade fair for the automotive service industry and we felt it a fitting platform to bring together and showcase the links and networks we have made over the last year,” concludes Niemand.
