NEASA will be conducting an informal workshop webinar to ensure that business owners, managers, HR and IR managers are sufficiently trained in the practical and legal requirements for dismissals due to operational requirements.
OBJECTIVES
The objectives include providing delegates with an understanding of the:
- legislative framework;
- relevant parties involved;
- acceptable reasons for retrenchments;
- legal requirements for invitations and notices;
- preparing for the consultation process;
- guidance with the consultation process; and
- severance pay and other mandatory payments.
