The Concours of Elegance Germany is proud to announce the introduction of the Future Classics class at this year’s event. Showcasing some of the most innovative and celebrated modern automobiles, the Future Classics class will offer a glimpse at the cars destined for iconic status.
From the Ferrari SP2 Monza to the Porsche 918 Spyder, this extraordinary lineup of cars will take centre stage at Gut Kaltenbrunn on the edge of Lake Tegernsee, each one a testament to engineering prowess, cutting-edge technology, and unparalleled craftsmanship.
A feature highlight is the Ferrari SP2 Monza, which pays homage to the brand’s historic barchettas. Unique in its design, the SP2 Monza features a V12 engine that will deliver 810 hp, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Its open-cockpit design combines retro aesthetics with modern performance, making it a true collector's piece.
Also joining the Future Classics class is the Ferrari SP3 Daytona. Celebrating Ferrari’s racing heritage, the SP3 Daytona is inspired by the brand's legendary sports prototypes of the 1960s. Equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 828 hp, the SP3 Daytona combines advanced aerodynamics with luxurious interior craftsmanship, offering both performance and comfort.
The Ferrari 812 Competizione will also be in attendance. Pushing the boundaries of the brand’s front-engine V12 tradition, this limited-edition model provides exhilarating performance and precision handling thanks to a power output of 819 hp and advanced aerodynamics. Its aggressive styling and exclusive features make it a standout in the Future Classics lineup.
Also entering the spotlight is the groundbreaking Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid hyper car that combines a high-revving V8 engine with electric motors, producing a combined 887 hp. Its advanced hybrid technology allowed for unprecedented performance at the point of launch. The 918 Spyder’s innovative design and engineering excellence have solidified its place in automotive history.
Porsche’s 911 Sport Classic will also be showcased. Paying tribute to the iconic 911 models of the past, while incorporating modern advancements, it features a turbocharged flat-six engine with 543 hp and a seven-speed manual transmission, delivering an engaging driving experience. The distinctive double-bubble roof and classic design cues make it an instant classic.
The ABT RS6-XR is a limited-edition masterpiece from ABT Sportsline, based on the Audi RS6 Avant. Featuring in the Future Classics class, the RS6-XR deploys an enhanced 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 740 hp, ensuring remarkable performance and versatility. The RS6-XR is unlike anything else in its styling, making it highly desirable.
Named after the father of the company’s founder, the Koenigsegg Jesko is designed to be the most capable track-oriented car ever made for the road. Boasting a twin-turbo V8 engine with up to 1,600 hp on E85 fuel, the Jesko achieves astonishing performance. Its advanced aerodynamics and cutting-edge technology represent the pinnacle of modern engineering. The Koenigsegg Jesko will appear in the Future Classics feature at the Concours of Elegance Germany.
