Messe Frankfurt South Africa is proud to announce that the DTI has booked a pavilion at Automechanika Johannesburg and applications are currently open for South African based businesses to apply to exhibit on this pavilion.
All you have to do is complete the application form to be considered. The only key criteria is that you are a South African based business. The application deadline is 15 May 2019. There are a limited number of spaces and the DTI has indicated that 40% of the pavilion space is already booked. This is an ideal opportunity for your company to participate for free at Africa’s largest automotive aftermarket expo.
The DTI will offer the following financial support to qualifying companies:
- Exhibition space and booth rental costs
- Freight-forwarding of display materials (only for exhibitors located outside of Gauteng)
- Air travel assistance up to R3,500.00 (SMME’s & BOE’s only for exhibitors located outside of Gauteng)
- Daily subsistence allowance of R1,200.00 per day (SMME’s & BOE’s only for exhibitors located outside of Gauteng
Automechanika Johannesburg has been added to the DTI inward buying missions list. South African Tourism has also indicated that it will provide funding for inward buying missions from sub-Saharan countries to the show. So if you have key clients in these countries, then they can apply for a travel sponsorship to attend the show.
