We like to inform you that the entire Nigel area is experiencing a total power outage since early Monday morning. We come to you with this notice as we now have confirmation that the repair is going to take approximately two weeks, as Eskom has to replace an entire pylon structure that was vandalized and dropped to the ground.
As you can understand the impact this has on our business is massive and although we have made a number of alternative arrangements, we are only running at 60% to 70% of normal capacity.
Furthermore, the communication to all employees at the company has been slightly hampered with cell towers also not functioning all the time. Our switchboard, email and Internet services are operating on alternative power generators.
If you cannot get hold of any of your usual contact people at the company during this time by telephone or mobile, please drop them an email. Alternatively, you welcome to make contact with me and I will do my best to get messages across.
