With the start of a new year we welcome two new TRIB Board Members into their roles supporting TRIB and the wider retread and repair industries. We're happy to have Jorge Heredia from Vulcan Vulcap and Bill Mohler from Elgi Rubber Company join our diverse group of Directors.
Mr. Heredia is an experienced bilingual sales professional with extensive education in the field including a MBA in Commercial Direction and an International Trade Master's degree. He has spent most of his 20 years of professional experience in the automotive industry in which the last 10 have been exclusively in the tire field; having occupied different roles from technical manager, retread plant manager and sales manager. He is also a graduate from the Global Education & Training at the BRIDGESTONE training institute.
He was part of the Latin America EXPERT’s network having received awards for his outstanding performance as brand ambassador.
He is currently the Global Sales Manager for the Canadian manufacturer Vulcan Vulcap Industries. He is overly excited with his inclusion to the TRIB Director’s Board and he is looking forward to bringing his knowledge of the Latin American market along with his passion for the tires business to the benefit of the entire community.
R.W. Mohler (Bill)
Mr. Mohler currently serves Elgi Rubber Company, LLC as president, North America and also serves as Corporate Head of Automotive Group, Elgi Rubber Company, LTD.
Mr. Mohler is a 46-year tire, retread/repair and recycling veteran having worked in retail, manufacturing, distribution and sales/marketing in executive level capacities.
He began with Elgi in 1999 tasked with the introduction of Elgi retread, repair and recycling products into the North American Market as manager and distributor. He later managed the merger of Longwear Rubber in 2007 and managed acquisitions of Durol Western in 2009, Midwest Rubber in 2011, Western States Mfg. in 2014 and Cincinnati Retread Systems in 2015.
He also serves on the Board of the Tread Rubber and Tire Repair Materials Manufacturers' Group (TRMG) and looks forward to bringing his knowledge and expertise to the TRIB Board.
